I dreamed of raven hair
lips apart in cool breath
of eyes not innocent
but full of merciful understanding.

She lived in a tent up on the hill
and danced in the shallow water
from her hands she blew a kiss
and from her body, she breathed fire.

Well I traveled in and out of time
two years and three behind
then again and when she's there
she'll hold you close, close beside her.

Now the shadows are in my mind
they can't turn back the time
so I will close my eyes
and wake in the moonlight.

Now all is turned to grey
you know they say we're all the same
so I will wake myself
and dream in the morning.

And dream of raven hair
